• BioSpace Deployment
  • Set for Sep 28 & 29.  Most likely MOE will go to M0 on 28th, BRUCE and MACK to other two sites on 29th.
  • Crew not yet set, but Roman will lead deployments.  Bruce K. will attend.  Will decide the third.  Bruce checking to see if anyone from EOM (Don Peters [eng.] or Mark Lambton [PM] might be here to attend the deployment.

• Moe issues
  • Julie has had some trouble with IPC on the MFB;  it's internally consistent in it's Ct, but Ct's are different depending on if sample is run through the core or stand-alone.  Julie has been hammering on this problem with advice from Chris P (on the WF Canon cruise).  Might be a bad pull from PP1 pigtail, which has been replaced.  She is also trying a 'better' IPC mixture.
  • Julie will continue to work on getting the instrument working; she leaves on a trip Thursday PM, and should not worry about canning, as we'll take care that issue.

• Bruce
  • Roman saw that Bruce failed the short DA yesterday, but discovered the puck heater was too hot to touch. Seems to be a temperature feedback issue. Will investigate with Scott today.

Missions for Biospace

• From Aug 9, Roman had notes stating we'd run 15 HAB/DA, 4 Bac, 3 Larv.
• julie/vanessa setting up Moe.
• all mission plans to be finished by Friday (17th) for discussion next Tuesday.
• Jim will contact Spyglass to find out where they are with the new puck cleaning.
